The Pensions Asset Allocation Summit is SGPE’s first in-person event since establishment, and Rob Arnott will be joining us as our Keynote Speaker.
We are delighted to announce that Rob Arnott will be the Keynote Speaker for our first in-person event, The Pensions Asset Allocation Summit, taking place in June at Plaisterers’ Hall in London.
Since our inception, we have pioneered the online conference setup, having hosted 22 conferences with almost 1,500 delegates. But now we are excited to host our first in person event.
Rob Arnott is recognised as a global leader in asset allocation research and practice, and is also known as the “Godfather of Smart Beta”. Based in Newport Beach, California, Rob founded his company, Research Affiliates, in 2002, which has revolutionised and lead the development of smart beta and asset allocation, with plans to have a profound impact on the global investment community with their products and services. As of December 2023, $139bn in assets are managed worldwide using investment strategies developed by Research Affiliates.
At The Pensions Asset Allocation Summit, Rob will share his experiences with asset allocation, exploring the importance and experience of asset allocation strategies for pension plans over the last 30 years, the ways they have evolved over time, and propose the key ingredients for an optimal asset allocation approach in the current environment.
